EP 054: In the first episode of this 6 part series we discussed Reciprocity and showed how ‘giving away as much FREE quality content as possible, on your website subconsciously influences people to give back to you.’

In the second episode we discussed Authority and explained how displaying that you’re an authority in your Niche, through content and other credibility elements on your website influences people to take action because they are far more likely to trust a credible, knowledgeable expert.

So today in part 3 of this 6 part series we are covering: Consistency.

Part 4 will be on Likability
Part 5 is on Scarcity
Part 6 si on Consensus

So listener, what we have realised after designing hundreds of websites, is that websites that get the best results are those that use the power of psychology in the website design to influence people to take action.

What is Consistency?

The definition of Consistency is : The quality of always behaving or performing in a similar way.

Metaphor:

Think of Consistency like a pattern. As humans we are wired to recognise patterns

So the goal with your website is to build TRUST, so by using consistency across everything on your website you will be more memorable and over time you will be trusted more.
We have many ways to use consistency on a website which we will share with you on this episode
